This entity, as you can see, is the ripper himself, his surrounded by darkness, suffering, pain, dissolation. He's collecting souls for himself and for a higher entity. He has supernatural powers. If u look at him in Earth you can find him at death valley or easier would be near a recently dead body.
He will not rest until get each and every soul, no matter how or who, but there's just one thing that you can be sure in your life... and that is DEATH... so he'll be waiting for you. The only possible way you can "avoid" him is joing at him or being his eternal slave.
